Dynamic simulation in urban water management
WG Waste Water Treatment Plants
The main aim of the working group "Dynamic simulation of waste water treatment plants" is to arise the acceptability of the dynamic simulation in practice. The topics of the working group are:
- Application of dynamic simulation in detailed planning of waste water treatment plants.
- Evaluation of simulation results.
- Guidelines for the accomplishment of simulation studies in activated sludge treatment plants (a result from the work on this topic is the IWA Task Group "Good Modelling Practice" which is going to develop international standards for simulation studies).
